Shelley relocated to Astoria Pointe Treatment Center in 2008. Her job responsibilities include counseling in the field of drug and alcohol addiction and facilitating a variety of group sessions.

Shelley attended Portland State University and UCLA. She is a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor and acquired her certification through the rigorous and highly acknowledged CAADAC program at UCLA. Shelley has been working in the chemical addiction field for over ten years.

When asked what matters the most in her career, Shelley said, "To continue to inspire the hope that profound and lasting change is not only possible, but sustainable."
