Shellie joined Astoria Pointe team in 2009. Her job duties include intake and clinical reviews. Shellie has a lot of experience in the field. She worked for DARS/Outreach Services for over four years, a nationwide referral service for drug and alcohol addiction treatment and interventions. She has her certifications as an Interventionist of Integrated Methods and also in Intake and Referrals.

In her own words; when asked what matters the most in her career, she said, I grew up in a family with addiction issues and have worked hard to overcome my own addictions. I feel that I have a great understanding of the effects of addiction. I have a passion for helping those in need find help and hope through recovery."
