Admissions Process
When you call, you will speak with an admissions counselor who will guide you through a brief and confidential telephone assessment. Once the assessment is completed, the admissions counselor will determine the most appropriate level of care for you.
Your admissions counselor will advise what to bring and will also be available to answer any other questions you may have prior to your arrival.
Arrangements can be made for airport pickup and escort to our facilities. If needed, escorting is also available from the point of origin.

Admitting Hours:
Although our business hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday, our admissions staff are on call twenty-four hours a day and will help guide you through the decision and admission process for treatment, in other words we will be ready when you are.
Primary Treatment Facility Admission Guidelines:
- You are at least eighteen years of age.
- You are chemically dependent upon drugs and or alcohol.
- You are able to perform a reasonable level of self-care, including eating, grooming and maintaining orderliness in your living quarters.
- You express motivation and a willingness to live in a treatment facility environment and pursue a sober life.

General Information for Clients Coming To Astoria Pointe or The Rosebriar:
All clients will have closet space and a dresser for clothing and personal items. We would prefer valuable items be left at home; however, we do have a small safe if needed.
Astoria Pointe and The Rosebriar will provide bedding, blankets, towels and washcloths. Laundry soap and facilities are available for residents to wash and dry their own clothing.
Here’s what you should bring with you for your stay at Astoria Pointe or The Rosebriar:
- Comfortable clothing for indoor and outdoor activities. Bring a weeks worth of casual clothing, including jeans and sweats
- Rain gear, a light jacket and a few sweaters or sweatshirts
- Tennis shoes
- Bathrobe, slippers, shower shoes, pajamas, or nightgowns
- Gym/ exercise clothes and also a bathing suit
- Personal items, including toothbrush, toothpaste, hairbrush, deodorant, shampoo, shaving supplies, make-up and other personal toiletries
- Writing material, paper, envelopes and postage stamps
- A phone card
- Bring any prescription medication that you are currently taking
- An IPod or other music/CD players
- Bring cigarettes if you smoke
- You may bring a little spending money that we will keep for you; we do make store runs once or twice a week
- Your health insurance card and your state ID card
Note: You will be staying with us for at least thirty days. Please bring anything that will make you feel comfortable and at home: i.e.: personal photos, books or your favorite blanket or pillow
Leave these Items at Home:
- Clothing that exhibits drugs, alcohol products, or any other inappropriate material
- Cologne, perfume, aftershave, mouthwash or any other products with alcohol
- Lap top computer
- Cell phones
- Cameras
- Herbal remedies or vitamins
- Valuables ( Astoria Pointe and The Rosebriar will not be responsible for losses or thefts)
- Food, candy or drinks
- For women, modest clothing only
