Admission
Admission Research shows that
the longer a patient remains in a structured treatment environment,
the better their chances are of remaining clean and sober longer
and possibly for their lifetime. 30-day treatment stays are only
the beginning of learning the life skills necessary to change the
habits and lifestyle that the chronic alcoholic or addict has been
living.
Astoria Pointe is proud to offer an extended program of recovery.
The price breakdown for this option is as follows:
First 30 days: $9,500.00
Second month: $8,000.00
Third month: $6,000.00 for a discounted
total of $23,500.00 with a $9,500 down payment due on or before
admission.
Astoria Pointe will accept credit cards, cashier’s checks, cash
or personal checks for payments. The admissions coordinator will
work with all prospective patients on payment arrangements, if necessary.
Many insurance companies will reimburse a portion of the treatment
costs. Please check with your provider on their policies for residential
treatment of chemical dependence.
The major differences and benefits of choosing the 90-day program
is that the patient has the chance to learn deeper strategies in
relapse prevention, interpersonal relationships, anger management,
problem solving and many more responsible life skills.
Graduates of a 90-day program look back on their treatment experience
and recall the “foggy” thinking they were experiencing during the
first month, and how valuable it was to continue their education
and skill building as their bodies continue to detox and recover
from the extensive damage done by alcohol and drug use.
“I don’t think I would have stayed sober if I had left after 30
days,” said Jacob P., after successfully completing 90 days of residential
treatment. “My thinking was so messed up that I needed more time
to absorb all that I learned
and how to use it in real life.”
For
patients who need longer-term
support. Astoria
Pointe has a transitional
living residence on campus.
Patients living in this beautiful 3-bedroom
house attend Aftercare Counseling, 12-step meetings
in the community, and individual sessions with a counselor.
Astoria
Pointe is a wonderful place of healing.
Our caring and qualified staff
works
to make treatment a therapeutic and worthwhile experience
for patients and their families. Everyone
from our cooks to the maintenance crew to the office staff welcomes
and encourages patients in every stage of their recovery. “We believe
in a treatment team approach,” said Leah Rhodes, Clinical Director.
“It’s an honor to witness the positive changes in a persons’ attitude
as they see themselves reaching goals they never thought possible.”
We have taken great care in choosing the location and all the elements
that encourage healing: the food, the recreation, the nearby beaches,
the amazing view of the Columbia River by day and the incredible
sunsets each evening. |
